Vexel Lines in Photoshop

  1. Start with a white or transparent 500px by 500px canvas.
  2. Select the Pen (Path) tool and draw a curved path using it. (View Screenshot)
  3. Next, right-click on your path's window and stroke your path using a simple 1px brush in #000000. (View Screenshot)
  4. Press Ctrl+A to select your canvas stroked path followed by Ctrl+X to delete your path. With your canvas selected click on the "Edit" tab, followed by "Define Brush Preset".
  5. Repeat Step #1 and #2, but this time draw a smaller path. Click on the brushes window and match my settings. Stroke your path with the newly defined brush to finish (refer to step #3).
